Bu gün, İsrail öz müstəqilliyinin 78-ci ildönümünü qeyd edərkən, biz sadəcə bir milli bayramı deyil, daha böyük bir məna daşıyan bir günü qeyd edirik.

Israel's Independence Day (Yom HaAtzmaut) commemorates the declaration of the State of Israel on 14 May 1948, when David Ben-Gurion announced the establishment of the new state at the end of the British Mandate for Palestine.
It is observed annually on the 5th of Iyar in the Hebrew calendar and is considered the country’s national day, marked by official ceremonies, public celebrations, and cultural events.
The holiday is closely linked with Israel’s transition from a mandate territory to a sovereign state following the UN Partition Plan of 1947, which laid the diplomatic groundwork for independence. It is traditionally celebrated immediately after Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day), creating a symbolic shift from national mourning to national celebration.
