Israel's ex-PM urges to protect Azerbaijan from Iran's aggression

Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has said that Azerbaijan has an excellent leader whom he admires.

“The Azerbaijani army showed its might by fighting for the territorial integrity of the country,” he said, Report informs.

Olmert added that Iran should be very careful not to confront Azerbaijan.

"Azerbaijan is a strong country and will be even stronger because it has strong friends, and Israel is one of them," he said.

The former prime minister noted that Iran is a very aggressive country and the international community knows about it.

“Together with the US and other countries, we must do our best to protect them from Iran’s threats. We must also protect Azerbaijan from Iranian aggression,” he added.
