Israeli delegation's visit marks milestone in strengthening Baku-Tel Aviv ties PHOTO
The delegation of Israel's National Security College, headed by MG Nimrod Aloni, JCOM Commander and Commandant of the IDF Military Colleges, is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
The visit marks another milestone in the ever-growing partnership between Israel and Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports via the message of the Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan on X.

As Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan George Deek emphasised, “Our ties continue to strengthen in every field, and the INDC’s visit to Baku demonstrates the growing interest in mutual learning of both countries from each other. The senior participants of this visit were introduced with the geopolitics of the region and the important role of Azerbaijan in the South Caucasus. We plan more mutual engagements with the INDC and Azerbaijani counterparts, in Israel and Azerbaijan”.
The embassy highlighted that the visit underscores the continued strengthening of ties between the two countries in various fields.
The delegation also took the opportunity to learn about the geopolitical situation in the region and Azerbaijan’s important role in the South Caucasus. The delegation, led by Aloni, also visited the Alley of Martyrs in Baku.
