Israeli embassy in Baku remains operational despite speculation of closure

The Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan has stated that it continues to work in the same mode.

The diplomatic mission made the announcement, commenting on the information of several media outlets about the possible termination of the embassy in Baku, Report informs.

"The Embassy does not comment on security issues. The Israeli embassy in Baku continues its work without changes," the diplomatic mission said.

Earlier, several Iranian media outlets reported that Israel evacuated its embassies in Baku and Abu Dhabi amid a possible response from Iran to the airstrike on the consulate in Damascus.
