Israeli, Italian embassies extend Independence Day congratulations to Azerbaijan

The embassies of Israel and Italy in Baku have extended warm congratulations to Azerbaijan on the occasion of its Independence Day, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and friendship.

In a message shared on X, the Israeli Embassy praised Azerbaijan’s resilience and achievements, while expressing hopes for continued harmony between the two nations.

“Happy Independence Day, Azerbaijan! We celebrate with you today – honouring your journey, strength, and achievements,” the message read. “Wishing peace, prosperity, and continued friendship between our nations.”

In parallel, the Italian Embassy in Baku also took to X to convey its best wishes to the Azerbaijani people.

“The Embassy of Italy in Baku extends its warmest congratulations to the friendly people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day,” the statement said.

The messages come as Azerbaijan marks its national holiday commemorating the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1918. Diplomatic missions across Baku often use the day to highlight strong bilateral relations and reaffirm their support for the country’s sovereignty and development.
