Japanese ambassador: Creation of green society - important challenge for whole world

Japanese Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan Watanabe Katsuya has said that the creation of a green society in the coming years is an important challenge not only for Azerbaijan, but also for the whole world.

The diplomat reminded that 2024 in Azerbaijan has been declared the “Green World Solidarity Year”, according to Report.

“I look forward to Azerbaijan's leadership role in addressing these issues, especially in such spheres as energy policy. Japan, using its experience, technological capabilities and skills, will be able to render support in solving these problems in the future,” the ambassador said.
