Jerusalem hosts concert devoted to 30th anniversary of Azerbaijani-Israeli diplomatic relations
A concert on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijani-Israeli diplomatic relations has been held at the Rubin Music and Dance Academy in Jerusalem (Al-Quds).
The concert, jointly organised by the State Committee for Diaspora Affairs and the international association Israel-Azerbaijan "AzIz", was attended by the soloist of the Israeli Opera Theater Camelia Joffe, the soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater Rza Khosrovzade, Report informs, citing the state committee.
The performers were accompanied by the Honoured Artist of Ukraine, pianist Evgeny Kosovsky.
The concert featured masterpieces of Azerbaijani composers Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Gara Garayev, Fikrat Amirov, Tofig Guliyev and Muslim Magomayev, Ukrainian composer Mykola Lysenko, Italian composer Rudolfo Falvo, Austrian and Hungarian composer Frans Lehar and others.
