Jordanian envoy thanks Azerbaijan for assistance in Iran evacuation

Jordan’s ambassador to Iran, Ashraf Khasawneh, has expressed appreciation to Azerbaijan for its support in facilitating the evacuation of Jordan’s diplomatic delegation through the Astara border crossing.

Speaking to local media, the diplomat said Azerbaijan provided all necessary assistance and conditions to ensure the safe evacuation process.

“I love Azerbaijan. Thank you for the conditions created for our evacuation. I hope that next time I will come to Azerbaijan as a tourist,” he stated.

According to the report, four members of Jordan’s diplomatic mission were evacuated via the Astara checkpoint, where Azerbaijani authorities ensured the required arrangements for their border crossing.
