Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan mull expansion of defence cooperation
Kazakh Defence Minister, Colonel-General Ruslan Zhaksylykov, has met with Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the country, Aghalar Atamoghlanov, to discuss the expansion of defence cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Ambassador Atamoghlanov provided a comprehensive overview of the current state of and future prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, highlighting the progress of joint projects, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The sides expressed positive assessments of their collaborative military exercises, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening the partnership between the armed forces of both nations. They also expressed mutual interest in expanding defence cooperation, including the training of military personnel.
