Khachatryan must answer for crimes against humanity Azerbaijani Red Crescent Society's statement
The Azerbaijani Red Crescent Society has said that the biased response of the Armenian Red Cross Society to their statement is very regrettable.
It was noted that the statement of the Azerbaijani organisation, based on the principles of humanism, implies delivery of humanitarian aid to the residents of the Garabagh region of Armenian origin, and therefore the inadequate reaction of the Armenian society is incomprehensible, APA informs.
"With our statement, we expressed our readiness to provide assistance to the people in need, with the use of the Aghdam-Khankandi road, in accordance with the Seville Agreement. Where is the violation here?
On the other hand, the Azerbaijani Red Crescent Society is fully authorised to carry out any humanitarian mission on the entire territory of the republic, including in the Garabagh economic region, and it does not need anyone's permission.
As for the position of the Armenian Red Cross Society regarding Vagif Khachatryan, we would like to note that in 1991 V. Khachaturyan killed innocent civilians - children, women, and old people in Meshali village of Khojaly district, took direct part in war crimes.
Khachatryan must answer for crimes against humanity. It is regrettable that the Armenian Red Cross society supports such a terrorist and a murderer. This completely contradicts the Geneva Conventions,” the statement reads.
