Kremlin: EU ban on import of Russians' personal stuff “against common sense”
The European Union's ban on the import of personal belongings by Russian citizens "contradicts the common sense".
“I would like to hope that we will not fall to such a level,” Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the remarks in an interview with RBC.
According to the Kremlin spokesman, all European capitals are currently afflicted with "the virus of Russophobia and sovereignty deficit" as they are under strong pressure from the United States.
On September 10, the European Union banned Russians from importing personal cars, smartphones and cosmetics, as it considers the corresponding actions as imports. Gemstones, toilet paper, shampoos, toothpaste, trailers and semi-trailers for transporting goods, yachts and cameras are also subject to restrictions.
