Turkic states should boost experience exchange, Kyrgyz official says
The Turkic states should strengthen the exchange of experience across various fields, particularly in response to rapid technological change and emerging global challenges, Talantbek Tashibekov, a senior Kyrgyz official, has stated.
Chairman of Kyrgyzstan's National Agency for Religious Affairs and Interethnic Relations called for closer cooperation among Turkic nations, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Tashibekov delivered the remarks at the inaugural meeting of the heads of government agencies responsible for religious affairs in the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS) member states.
He noted that various global trends make it essential to exchange experience on issues of mutual interest and develop coordinated approaches.
“In this context, expanding cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States is particularly relevant. Our countries are united by common historical roots, cultural affinity, and a shared commitment to preserving peace, stability and social harmony," he added.
