Kyrgyz President leaves for Azerbaijan for state visit
Accompanied by a delegation of 11 ministers, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov has headed to Azerbaijan for a state visit.
As part of the visit to take place on April 24-25, Zhaparov will hold bilateral talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The presidents will discuss topical issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, prospects for further development and building fruitful cooperation, Caliber.Az reports.
The visit will also feature holding the second session of the Interstate Council, following which a joint declaration of the presidents and a number of agreements aimed at deepening cooperation in trade, economic and cultural and humanitarian spheres will be signed.
Aliyev and Zhaparov will also attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a secondary school in the village of Khidirli.
