Kyrgyzstan requests land in Baku for new embassy building
Kyrgyzstan has appealed to the government of Azerbaijan to allocate a land plot in Baku for the construction of a new embassy building, Maksat Mamytkanov, Kyrgyz ambassador, has stated.
In an interview with APA, he said Kyrgyzstan’s intention to build an embassy with the relevant buildings and facilities demonstrates its interest in expanding and deepening cooperation between the two states, Caliber.Az reports.
“[…] and we hope that the issue will be resolved positively,” he noted.
Addressing the strategic partnership, he made it clear that it has deep roots and strong prospects.
“Both Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan are interested in the development of these ties. In particular, recent high-level contacts demonstrate the extent to which our goals and objectives coincide on many platforms. These steps will only continue to develop,” he added.
