Latin American, Caribbean ministers meet on sidelines of WUF13 in Baku
The second plenary session of the Forum of Ministers and High-Level Authorities of Housing and Urban Development of Latin America and the Caribbean (MINURVI) has opened on the sidelines of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
MINURVI is the main intergovernmental body coordinating housing and urban development policy across Latin America and the Caribbean, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Its primary objective is to align regional strategies, represent the interests of member states at the global level, and facilitate the exchange of best practices in urban development.
The 34th General Assembly of MINURVI was held in Bridgetown, Barbados, in December 2025.
More than 40,000 participants from 182 countries are registered for WUF13, which runs until May 22.
