Latvia sees great potential for cooperation with Azerbaijan

Parliamentary Secretary of the Latvian Defence Ministry Baiba Bļodniece has said that Latvia and Azerbaijan have close relations, they cooperate in political, economic, military, cultural and educational areas.

She made the remarks at the high-level video conference "Women for a Sustainable Tomorrow" at ADA University in Baku on November 22, APA reports.

"Latvia and Azerbaijan have over the years developed active cooperation in various spheres. Even though we are geographically located in different regions, we have common interests and great potential for cooperation", Bļodniece added.
