Leyla Aliyeva meets Omani crown prince to boost cultural, youth ties PHOTO

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, has met with Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Crown Prince of Oman and Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, during an official visit to the Sultanate.

The discussions focused on cultural preservation, youth engagement, and sports policy, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Leyla Aliyeva highlighted Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts to protect its historical heritage and promote cultural initiatives, while also advancing programmes for young people and athletes.

The Crown Prince expressed a strong interest in developing closer cooperation with Azerbaijan. Both sides praised the “high level of friendship and collaboration” between their countries and voiced confidence in further expanding bilateral relations.

Leyla Aliyeva also familiarised herself with the projects implemented by the Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group) in Muscat.

Founded in 2005, the company is one of the key tourism development companies in the Sultanate, aiming to globally promote the country's tourism opportunities and diversify its economy.
