Lithuania appoints new deputy head of mission in Baku

The new Deputy Head of Mission at Lithuania’s Embassy in Azerbaijan has officially taken up her role in Baku.

Kristina Baubinaitė, a career diplomat, has previously served at Lithuanian embassies in Prague and Dublin, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

She holds a doctorate in social sciences and is the author of a book on contemporary Lithuanian migration.

In a statement, the embassy welcomed her arrival: “We congratulate Kristina on joining our team and wish her an engaging and successful term, with new partnerships and meaningful projects ahead.”
