Lithuanian FM condemns Iranian drone strikes on Azerbaijan

On March 6, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys called Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to condemn recent drone strikes on Azerbaijani territory.

During the call, Bayramov provided detailed information about the Iranian drone attacks, emphasising that these strikes constitute a serious violation of international law and norms and contribute to rising tensions in the region, Caliber.Az reports via the foreign ministry.

Budrys expressed deep concern, condemned the drone strikes, and affirmed Lithuania’s solidarity with Azerbaijan, stressing that such actions further escalate regional tensions.

The ministers also exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
