Long-awaited homecoming signals new opportunities for Fuzuli residents Azerbaijani official shares footage from Fuzuli
Azerbaijani foreign policy aide and head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department under the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev has shared video footage from Fuzuli.
“With the attendance of diplomatic community, Fuzuli residents are rejoicing Fuzuli City Day - 17 October. On this particular day, in 2020, Fuzuli was liberated from 30-year-long military occupation of Armenia. Former IDPs and refugees are returning to newly built apartments, and kids are going to schools. On the right barbaric ruins and desolation of old Fuzuli is a tragic reminder of occupation,” Caliber.Az reports citing Hajiyev’s message on X.
