Malaysian parliament chairman due in Azerbaijan

Malaysian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ahmad Kamrizamil Mohd Riza has said that Chairman of the Malaysian Senate Mutang Tagal will visit Azerbaijan.

“The visit will be paid in late April. The mutually beneficial visits have been made between the two countries since 2023. The chairman of the Malaysian Senate will arrive in Azerbaijan in late April. The delegation, headed by the chairman of the Senate, will consist of nine people,” the ambassador told Report.

Malaysia recognized the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 31, 1991. The diplomatic relations were established between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Malaysia on April 5, 1993. Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established in Malaysia in July 2007. Embassy of Malaysia was established in Azerbaijan in April 2014.
