Maradona's legendary jersey sold for record amount in auction

According to the source, the Argentinean's jersey from the 1/4 final match of the 1986 World Cup against England (2:1) was put up for sale. In that game, Maradona scored a double, scoring one of the balls with his hand, which later became known as the "hand of God." The starting price of the T-shirt was 4.98 million euros.
For the past 35 years, the jersey has belonged to ex-England midfielder Steve Hodge. He exchanged jerseys with Maradona after the match. It is noted that the sale of Maradona's T-shirt was a record deal in the history of sports paraphernalia.
