Media: Pashinyan withholds details of Brussels meeting from fellow MPs
The "silence" and twisty behaviour of Nikol Pashinyan in the aftermath of the Brussels meeting has caused concern in the ruling party, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian daily Hraparak.
"A week has passed since the 'historic' meeting. However, Pashinyan has still not met with them, has not presented non-public aspects of the meeting, has not given assessments as he usually does after meetings outside Armenia," the newspaper notes.
The article goes on to say that Pashinyan was recently in parliament from morning till late at night, taking part in the discussion of the government's performance over the past year on the five-year plan. But he was silent about the Brussels meeting.
"Members of the government team were anxiously waiting for the prime minister to inform his followers, because it was already known on Wednesday afternoon that the parliamentary opposition would not attend the government meeting in parliament, and Pashinyan could have ordered the team to end the meeting and call a closed session quickly. But he failed to do that, which only deepened the mistrust of the ruling team," the daily notes.
