Mexican TV channel slams policy of double standards pursued against Azerbaijan
Mexico’s influential news channel Milenio has held a wide discussion on Azerbaijan’s local anti-terrorist measures in its Garabagh region, the hypocritical policy of the West and biased propaganda against Azerbaijan.
The discussion took place during the broadcast of the weekly analytical and information programme "Between Borders", Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico.
Invited as a political commentator, professor of the prestigious UNAM University (National Autonomous University of Mexico) Talya Ishjan ironically commented on the actions of Armenia, which continues its smear campaign against Azerbaijan, and separatists in the Garabagh region.
During the meeting, the participants noted that the Armenian armed forces, allegedly suffering from "hunger" and "blockade", "found the strength" to continue landmine terror and military provocations on the territory of Azerbaijan.
The participants stated that Azerbaijan carried out local anti-terrorist measures in Garabagh within the framework of international law and in line with its national legislation and in less than 24 hours forced the separatist regime to capitulate, thus ending the 30-year Armenian occupation.
During the broadcast, it was noted that along with the reconstruction works carried out in the liberated territories, the reintegration of Garabagh Armenian residents is being carried out based on the Constitution and laws of Azerbaijan, and an electronic portal has been created for this purpose.
The speakers stressed the unacceptability of unjustified and biased propaganda of the West against Azerbaijan, including France, which is particularly active in this issue and apparently interested in the continuation of the military conflict in the region.
