MHP leader hails Turkish-Azerbaijani ties as “strong and unbreakable”
Devlet Bahçeli, leader of Türkiye’s Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), has reaffirmed the strength of relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, describing them as “strong and unbreakable.”
Speaking at an MHP parliamentary faction meeting in Ankara, Bahçeli stated that attempts by certain forces or states to undermine the sovereign rights of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, threaten the two countries, or hinder their historical and political achievements are doomed to fail, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
He emphasized that cooperation between Ankara and Baku reflects the principle of “One nation, two states”, and expressed confidence that the “two bright stars of the Turkic era” will continue to face modern challenges decisively.
Bahçeli also noted that the national, historical, cultural, and strategic partnership between Türkiye and Azerbaijan causes concern among certain circles. “We see and understand who is behind such initiatives,” he said, adding that attempts to drive a wedge between the two friendly nations will not succeed.
The MHP leader concluded by expressing his belief that the future belongs to the Turkic world.
