Minister: Azerbaijan opens Cyber Security Centre with Israel's support
The Cybersecurity Centre, which will soon open in Azerbaijan with Israeli assistance, will train information technology specialists.
Azerbaijan's Digital Development and Transport Minister Rashad Nabiyev made the remarks at the Azerbaijan Investment and Young Entrepreneurs Forum, organised in Baku by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) that operates under the Ministry of Economy, Report informs.
"The centre is being created based on an agreement with the Israeli Technion University. One of the important projects we are implementing is related to the cybersecurity not only of the country, but also of private small and medium-sized businesses. There is a decision to create a centre that will release highly qualified specialists and coaches to the Azerbaijani market in the next 3 years, and this centre will start its work in the near future," he said.
