Minister: Azerbaijan to acquire new weapons from Türkiye, Israel

Azerbaijan will sign agreements with Türkiye and Israel on the purchase of new weapons within the framework of the 4th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition ADEX and the 13th International Exhibition Securex Caspian.

Azerbaijan Defence Industry Minister Madat Guliyev made the remarks on the sidelines of the ADEX exhibition underway in Baku on September 6-8, APA reports.

He noted that Azerbaijan continues to cooperate with both Turkish and Israeli companies.

"Together with Türkiye, we are working on such weapons, which are designed for 10-15 years ahead. That is, we are looking to the future. We are even looking 20 years ahead. This is the instruction of the head of state," the minister said.
