Minister: Bosnia and Herzegovina to cooperate with Azerbaijan to fight natural disasters

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Minister of Security Nenad Nesic has said that the signing of an agreement with Azerbaijan on combating natural disasters is very important for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Nesic made the remarks at a meeting with Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov in Baku, Report informs.

"This agreement creates new conditions for cooperation between countries in the field of security," he added.

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s minister noted that Bosnia and Herzegovina is in such a territory where natural disasters often occur.

“Fires occur in the country almost every year. In this regard, security issues and the fight against emergency situations are a priority issue for the country,” he said.

Nesic noted that countries should help each other in case of emergency.
