Ministry: Azerbaijani reservists complete 2025 training plan with success PHOTO / VIDEO

The 2025 training plan for Azerbaijani reservists wrapped up with a special session, conducted in cooperation with the State Service for Mobilisation and Conscription.

The closing ceremony, held to commemorate the end of the training, began with a poignant tribute to Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs—those who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty. In honour of their legacy, the national anthem of Azerbaijan was performed, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

At the event, speakers emphasised that the training session, which focused on both theoretical and practical elements, aimed to enhance the combat readiness of the reservists. The programme included specialised lessons on tactical-technical characteristics, operational guidelines, and the methods for the combat use of modern weapons and vehicles available in the Azerbaijan Army’s arsenal. Beyond technical training, discussions on national and spiritual values, patriotism, and commitment to statehood were held, reinforcing the importance of these ideals in the training process. 

The event also underscored the achievement of the training’s objectives, as all goals set for the session were successfully met. The ceremony concluded with the recognition of reservists who demonstrated outstanding performance during the training, with a group of them being awarded for their excellence.
