Moldova aims to expand trade links with Azerbaijan
Moldovan Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu has met with Azerbaijan’s ambassador, Ulvi Bakhshaliyev, to discuss expanding bilateral trade between the two countries.
According to the Moldovan government, the talks focused on deepening cooperation in trade, economic affairs, and cultural initiatives.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Munteanu highlighted Moldova’s interest in increasing the volume of bilateral trade, enhancing engagement between business communities, and attracting more Azerbaijani investors. Priority sectors for investment were identified as agriculture and energy.
The discussions also covered the promotion of political dialogue and the development of cultural cooperation, including the organisation of additional bilateral visits.
