Montenegrin president invited to COP29

Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has met with President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović as part of her official visit to Montenegro.

Speaker Gafarova conveyed greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to his Montenegrin counterpart, and handed over a letter of invitation to participate in COP29 in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

President Milatović described Azerbaijan as a friendly country for Montenegro, hailing the developing relations between the two countries. Saying that Azerbaijan is one of the key investors of Montenegro, Milatovic praised the high level of cooperation, especially in the field of tourism.
