In a phone call the sides emphasized regional security, adherence to international law, and the importance of diplomatic cooperation amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
FM Bayramov briefed Ibrahimović on the Iranian drone strikes against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on March 5, emphasizing that the attacks violated Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and contravened international legal norms.
Ibrahimović strongly condemned the strikes, expressed concern over the situation, and affirmed his understanding of Baku’s position, reiterating Montenegro’s full solidarity with Azerbaijan.
The conversation also included exchanges on other issues of mutual interest, reinforcing diplomatic dialogue and cooperation between the two countries.
