Morocco thanks Azerbaijan for support on territorial integrity

Talks between Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Sahiba Gafarova and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of Morocco Mohamed Ghayate have confirmed the “high level of fraternal relations” between the two countries, according to Moroccan Ambassador to Azerbaijan Adil Embarch.

In a statement on Facebook, Embarch said the meeting took place on the sidelines of the 20th session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States in Baku, Caliber.Az reports per local media. 

“During the meeting, Mr. Ghayate expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its continued support for the Kingdom's territorial integrity and its sovereignty over the Moroccan Sahara. He also emphasized the importance of giving new impetus to the development of bilateral economic and trade ties,” Embarch wrote.
