Moscow, Baku discuss bilateral trade, economic cooperation
A meeting was held in Moscow between the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, and Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev.
Special attention was paid to cooperation in transport, education, and environmental protection, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
"In line with the agreements reached during the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on August 19, 2024, in Baku, the co-chairs of the IGC discussed current issues of bilateral trade, economic, and scientific-technical cooperation," the statement reads.
Moreover, the parties also discussed other issues of mutual interest and reaffirmed their readiness to continue a constructive dialogue to strengthen Russian-Azerbaijani relations across all sectors.
