NATO special envoy Kevin Hamilton to visit Azerbaijan, alliance says

The NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia, Kevin Hamilton, will visit Azerbaijan in the near future.

NATO said Hamilton’s efforts are aimed at strengthening dialogue and cooperation between the North Atlantic Alliance and South Caucasus countries, which the organisation describes as a “region of strategic importance,” Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Hamilton is currently on a visit to Georgia as part of his second regional tour since taking office.

In April, he visited Armenia.
