NATO special rep: Azerbaijan contributes to peace and security in the region and beyond
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a meeting with NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, Javier Colomina.
The meeting took place as part of the 30th OSCE Ministerial Council meeting, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Caliber.Az.
The meeting centred around the crucial topics of cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO, as well as regional and international issues.
The parties also deliberated on the process of normalization and the prospects of negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
The significance of political dialogue and practical cooperation between NATO and Azerbaijan as a partner country that contributes to peace and security in the region and beyond was emphasized.
Moreover, Bayramov apprised his interlocutor of the factors behind Azerbaijan's anti-terrorist measures, elucidating the country's efforts to normalize its relations with Armenia.
