NAUSS delegation engages in military training talks with Azerbaijani officials PHOTO
A high-ranking delegation from the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS), led by Vice-Rector Dr. Abdulrazag Al-Morjan, visited Azerbaijan to discuss cooperation in military education.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence told Caliber.Az that the delegation met with Major General Arif Hasanov, Deputy Rector of the National Defence University, and Colonel Nizami Mevlanov, Head of the Training Centre of the Azerbaijani Army.
During the meeting, the delegation received a detailed briefing on Azerbaijan's military education system and the reforms implemented in this area. A video presentation highlighting the country's Patriotic War was also shown to the guests.
The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration between Azerbaijan and NAUSS in military education and addressed various issues of mutual interest.
As part of their visit, the delegation toured training camps, firing ranges, and the training department at the Azerbaijani Army’s Training Centre, gaining insight into the country’s military training infrastructure.
The visit underscores the growing interest in strengthening ties between Azerbaijan and NAUSS, particularly in the field of military and security education.
