The North-South project has room for growth.

According to Report, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Ceyhun Bayramov made the statement at a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

According to him, the expansion of transit and communication ties in the region is given special importance.

"In this regard, the North-South project has special significance. It has shown its effectiveness and has the opportunity to grow," Bayramov said.

He recalled that Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation are actively developing economic cooperation. Azerbaijan has direct economic ties with more than 70 subjects of the Russian Federation.
