Norway's envoy expresses gratitude to Azerbaijani president after official meeting

Norway’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Andreas Gaarder, expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev following a meeting in the Azerbaijani capital.

“It was an honour to be received today by His Excellency President Aliyev to present my letters of credence accrediting me as ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan,” Gaarder wrote in a post on X, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The meeting marked the official presentation of credentials by Gaarder, who has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to Azerbaijan.

To recall, President Aliyev has today formally accepted the credentials, welcoming the new ambassador to his post.
