Official: Armenian side hides information about mass grave sites

The Armenian side hides information about the places of mass graves.

The remark came from Deputy head of the working group of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Citizens Eldar Samadov in a conversation with Report.

According to him, the State Commission has collected data on mass graves as a result of years of research: "Excavations are already underway in many of them. But the process will take a lot of time. The Armenian side hides information about the burial sites, which makes our work very difficult".

He further said that specialists and representatives of relevant state structures will jointly inspect the site of mass grave found in Galadere locality in Khojaly district on March 31.

According to him, a preliminary assessment will be carried out.

On March 30, the Prosecutor General's Office disseminated information that the human remains found in the area belonged to at least three persons.
