Official Board of Peace website launches with charter, core principles PHOTO
The Board of Peace has launched its official website at boardofpeace.org, listing 26 founding states, including Azerbaijan, and presenting the council’s core principles.
The site features the Board’s charter, the Gaza peace plan, documents, and records of past meetings, Caliber.Az reports.
It also provides information about council members and the Gaza Board of Directors.

On January 16, Trump announced the creation of the international organisation, inviting Azerbaijan to become one of its founding members. Azerbaijan accepted the invitation and confirmed its intention to participate.
The Board of Peace is originally focused on facilitating a ceasefire, reconstruction, governance, and stabilisation in the Gaza Strip as part of Trump’s peace plan.
According to the charter, countries are invited by the US president to join and serve on the board; membership terms are typically three years, but contributing at least $1 billion in cash funds within the first year grants a permanent seat.
The Board of Peace Charter signing ceremony took place on January 22 in Davos, with President Ilham Aliyev and other heads of state and government signing the charter.
