Ombudsman visits Armenian sabotage group members arrested in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan's Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman) Sabina Aliyeva and members of the National Preventive Group have visited institutions where Armenian citizens are being held for criminal acts committed as members of terrorist and sabotage groups in Azerbaijani territories liberated from occupation following the cessation of hostilities.
The group's doctors and psychologists also took part in the meetings, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani ombudsman office.
Sabina Aliyeva and members of the National Preventive Group individually received and listened to the arrested Armenian citizens' appeals.
At the same time, their detention conditions – the condition of cells, their size, lighting, ventilation, personal hygiene conditions, medical care and nutrition were checked.
It turned out that the arrested persons have no complaints about the conditions of detention and treatment, telephone communications, correspondence, access to information (television, publications), or availability of medical care.
