Ongoing provocations on border: Armenians continue to shell Azerbaijani army positions
In another escalation along the Azerbaijan-Armenia border, Armenian forces continued their provocations by shelling Azerbaijani army positions.
From 20:10 to 23:15 on April 11, Armenian military units fired small arms at Azerbaijani Army positions located in the Basarkechar and Gorus districts. The attacks occurred intermittently, with brief pauses between barrages, Caliber.Az reports citing Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan confirmed that Azerbaijani Army units responded with appropriate countermeasures in the affected areas.
On April 10, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions stationed in the direction of Seyrak Mesha settlement of Tovuzgala region using small arms also subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions.
Azerbaijan Army units took adequate retaliatory measures in the mentioned direction.
These ongoing border clashes have raised concerns about the stability of the region and the potential for further escalation.
