OTS foreign ministers approve key institutional, budgetary decisions Details
The Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) have adopted a series of significant decisions during its meeting in Gabala, aimed at strengthening the organisation’s institutional framework and deepening cooperation among member and observer states.
Among the key outcomes was the approval of several institutional and financial documents. These included amendments to Articles 1 and 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Turkic Academy, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The Council also approved the granting of observer status to Turkmenistan in both the Turkic Academy and the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation.
In addition, the Council approved the OTS Secretariat’s financial report for 2024 and its budget for 2026. Budgets for both the Turkic Academy and the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation for 2026 were also endorsed through the official meeting minutes.
