Over 1,100 evacuated from Iran via Azerbaijan amid US-Israel strikes
Due to the military operations launched by the United States and Israel on February 28, a total of 1,161 people have been evacuated from Iran through the Azerbaijan border.
According to information obtained by Report, between February 28 and March 4 at 10:00 a.m., 224 Azerbaijani citizens crossed the border.
In addition, citizens from other countries were evacuated as follows: China – 361, Russia – 246, Pakistan – 76, Tajikistan – 99, Saudi Arabia – 18, Georgia – 9, Belarus – 7, United Arab Emirates – 6, Slovakia – 6, Serbia – 5, Jordan – 4, Switzerland – 4, Iran – 4, Nigeria – 4, Japan – 4, Qatar – 3, Bangladesh – 3, Uzbekistan – 3, Mexico – 3, Philippines – 3, Nepal – 2, Kazakhstan – 2, France – 2, Türkiye – 2, Italy – 2, Yemen – 2, United Kingdom – 1, Poland – 1, Tunisia – 1, Lebanon – 1, India – 1, Myanmar – 1, Brazil – 1, Maldives – 1, South Africa – 1.
In total, citizens from 37 countries, amounting to 937 people, have been evacuated from Iran through the Azerbaijan border.
