Over 3,400 people evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan

A total of 3,439 people have been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan between February 28 and April 11.

Of those evacuated, 612 are citizens of Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Among those evacuated are citizens of China (735 people), Russia (374), India (284), Bangladesh (198), Tajikistan (192), Pakistan (151), Iran (136), Oman (84), Indonesia (68), Algeria (57), Italy (46), Germany and Canada (27 each), Spain (26), France (25), Georgia (21), Saudi Arabia and Japan (18 each), Uzbekistan and the United States (17 each), Bahrain (16), Poland (14), Switzerland (14), Nigeria, Kazakhstan and Belarus (13 each), Hungary (12), Mexico (11), the United Kingdom, Bulgaria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (10 each), Brazil (9), Sudan and Venezuela (8 each), and Finland, Kyrgyzstan, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium and the United Arab Emirates (6 each).
