PACE president skips meeting with victims of Armenian mine terror
22 November 2023 13:30
Chairman of “The Azerbaijan Mine Victim Association” Public Association Ray Karimoglu has said that President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Tiny Kox was offered to meet with victims of mine terror in Azerbaijan, but he refused.
Karimoglu made these remarks at an event dedicated to the mine terror victims, Report informs.
He noted that unfortunately, the world ignores the mine problem of Azerbaijan.
“We saw this attitude during the 44-day second Karabakh war and after it. Under certain pressure, Armenia handed over maps of the planted mines, but they are inaccurate. As a result, civilians, women and children are dying. It is necessary to call on Armenia to put an end to mine terror,” Karimoglu said.
