PACE session to dicuss Armenia's border provocations against Azerbaijan
The autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) begins today in Strasbourg.
Report informs, citing the PACE press service, that during the session, debates will be on the recent provocations of Armenia on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, as well as food security in Europe, and the consequences of the Russian war against Ukraine for Europe.
The Assembly is expected to discuss also the fulfilment of Türkiye's, Hungary's and Romania's commitments to PACE.
During the session on October 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will address the deputies of the Assembly via videoconference.
Irish President Michael Higgins and Swiss Confederation President Ignazio Cassis and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama will also deliver a speech.
The session will wrap up on 14 October.
Earlier, the head of the delegation of the Azerbaijani parliament to PACE, chairman of the parliamentary committee Samad Seyidov and members of the delegation - deputies Erkin Gadirli, Rafael Huseynov, Nigar Arpadarai, Kamal Jafarov, Parvin Kerimzade, Fazil Mustafa, Asim Mollazade and Sevinj Fataliyeva went to Strasbourg to participate in the autumn session of the organization.
