Pakistan, Azerbaijan's FMs mull ways to deepen bilateral cooperation
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, initiated a phone call with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to discuss regional matters and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
During the call, the ministers discussed a range of bilateral issues of mutual interest and reviewed the recent meeting between Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, Caliber.Az reports via Pakistani media.
The two officials also examined regional and international developments and reaffirmed their countries’ commitment to further deepening multilateral cooperation and partnership.
The discussion highlights the continued focus of both Islamabad and Baku on strengthening strategic ties, enhancing economic and diplomatic collaboration, and promoting regional stability through joint initiatives.
