Pakistan commends Azerbaijan for evacuation support

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Qasim Mohiuddin, expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its ongoing assistance in evacuating Pakistani citizens from Iran.

In a post on his X account, the ambassador said he held a conversation with Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Elnur Mammadov, during which they discussed regional developments and recent security concerns, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

“Reaffirmed Pakistan's strong condemnation of drone attacks in Nakhchivan. Pakistan stands in solidarity with Azerbaijan. Thanked Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry for continued support in evacuating Pakistani nationals from Iran,” Mohiuddin wrote in a post on X.
